Named after the mythical Demon Girls of Ujae, a Marhallese myth that kept the island uninhabited for centuries. The detonation of the Castle Bravo device on nearby Bikini Atoll, thus dumping radioactive waste on the atoll did little to encourage settlement during contemporary times as well.

This area is a wide pass on the south east corner of the atoll that offers a shortish left and a long wrapping right in the correct conditions. The right is truly a sight to behold when firing. The unique topography of the northern reef headland bends and distorts swell energy a full 270 degrees deep into the shelter of the lagoon.

Needs a big swell to pull this off and remain rideable throughout. A longboard helps to glide you through the fat sections into the reforming juice.
