general information

Reachable to those involved in scientific trials on the island. Most of the coast on the islands here is very steep too and has no surf potential.

The enormous glacier alluvial flow here has generated great system of sandbanks that link far offshore, when they line up, they provide some of he finest cold water rides in the world

Colour your wetsuit.
If I remember a David Attenborough special correctly, this is where Orcas train their young to pluck young seals off the beach to eat. They do this by surfing right up with the shore break, chomp and catch spinning back with the next receding wave! If they go for shades of gray, I suggest survival orange may be the appropriate wetsuit colour
