general information
Sigatoka rivermouth(pron' Singa-toka) is the only beach break in the Fijian Island chain and it's actually pretty damn good. The current of the river maintains quality sand banks that encourage any neat southwest swell lines to wrap into silky smooth chocolate tubes, chocolate due to the brown river water. However, watch out for strong currents and debris from the river and the occasional "toothed fish" A local told me they don't bite, hhmmmmmmm.
