Offshore just north north of Honokohau marina lies a sand covered lava reef that yields good lefts and rights in most swells with west in them. Pick of the waves is the left in summer, with winter northwest swells seeing the rights perform.
A slightly easier option than the better known Pinetrees further north, particularly on the higher end of the tide.
