general information

An intense lefthand barrel over super shallow reef, surf here at high tide , for experienced surfers and bodyboarders only. This wave breaks outside of some more Poipu breaks that are a little more mellower and popular.  The right is longer and has good walls for carving but still requires experience lest you end up tangling with the submerged rock-reef.  For the hellmen though, the left is where it is at!

Teh outer reef means this spot gets the first breaking wave of a south swell, hence 'first break'.
