general information

Not a surf destination to head specifically for but a good option when breaks further north in Yorkshire are maxed out, this area is a little further south and the swells tend to be smaller and cleaner here with some nice peaky breaks when everywhere else is stormy. There are very strong longshore drifts here, groynes have been constructed to counteract these currents but their presents makes for low tide surfing only. Probably not a good spot for absolute beginners.
