general information

A length of beach north of Playa Carmen. The beach is mixed with sand and lava rock. The rock ledges extend out into the ocean and provide perfect platforms for peaks to form, which can produce heavy barelling lefts and rights particulalrly in a big SW swell during the wet season. During the dry season offshores blow most of the day and make for some very fun waves for all surfers. For the more adventurous, a peak called Suck Rock lies at the northern end of the beach. Usually not too many crowds here, oh except when the place is firing and the locoal swill be out in force.
