general information
One of the real jewels of the central coast. A classic point break that is a real beauty on it's day. The main wave has a steep takeoff close to the rocks and forms into a nice long bowl section before sucking up into a close out barrel near the beach. Needs a good sized east to south east swell swell to work properly and can handle lots of size. It's well tucked in behind the headland and so is sheltered from the southerly winds, providing good opportunities during winter.
For a rarer challenge, wait for a massive southeast swell and a second wave breaks way outside that sometimes links up all the way inside. This one for the hellman. Note when it gets big here make sure you have arms of steel, cause it can be a heck of a paddle.
