general information
Powerful left point break just south of Lima that can turn on world class waves. The set up has three main sections, furthest outside is the Point which gives you the steep thrilling take off into a fast section, best left to the pros and wannabe pros. Next comes a slower, though this is relative, big green walling section, great for a carve or two. Lastly finish with a fast and hollow barreling section.
Proximity to Lima and quality of this wave means it will be crowded when working with quality surfers. However the three sections does allow the crowd to spread out. Best for experienced surfers, particulalry the rock jump entry can be hazardous, though intermediates wanting a challenge can head to the inside sections.
Needs a big southwest swell to happen, and doesn't really get going until it's atleast overhead, but can handle and wants much more than that. One of the best breaks around for serious surfers.
