general information
Popular beach on the northeast side of the island. Can provide a few peaksn along the beach, with fast and hollow left and rights in bigger easterly swell and offshore south to southwest winds. Mostly though it will be protected from major swells, and will only have small fun ones, good for learners. Apparently the beach takes its name from a British shipwreck survivor who washed ashore there centuries ago.
