The main beach break on the Ichinomiya area stretch of coast, and provides one of the better shortboard options than the surrounds. Ichinomiya is small town in Chiba with a plentiful local surfer population, many of them pros or striving to be. The area has experienced a lot of development and growth in the last decade and is a haven for surfers and visitors from from Tokyo. Will be packed on weekends especially in summer when the place gets cranks up energy-wise. If you want a chance of having it to yourself, head here in winter and take the cold. Otherwise, like the rest of the area, Autumn Typhoons provide the optimum swell for surf.
