Probably the best beach break option along the Ichinomiya town coast. “Shida” is a haven for the local pros and up and coming rippers. Plays host to local comps and has hosted Pro Surfing competitions. With the right banks, winds and swell, Shida can yield fast and hollow barrels. Big carpark makes for easy access, though in summer and weekends you'll be fighting for a spot as the place gets packed. A quality break capable of producing magazine quality photos, especially with a typhoon pumping long period swell in from the east-southeast.
