general information
Named after it's position in the Waikiki break organisation, i.e. it;'s the third break, along with Canoes and Populars. The wave have a long right that starts off over some reef but ends up over sandy bottom. It's pretty mushy on most days, perfect for those with big and fat boards, but still steeper than Conoes. However when everything lines up, that being a solid south swell, offshore nor'eatser trades it can produce glorious makeable tubes. Intermediates will see this as their best chance to experience a good barrel. Crowds can be huge here, but not as out of control as the more popular tourist breaks in the Waikiki stretch.
