general information

At the main beach of the town at Forster, at the southern are the Forster Ocean baths commonly known as 'the Bull Ring'. Just past these rocks south and a couple of hundred metres off Second Head is a rock-reef known as Hayden's Rock. Doesn't usually break except in the largest of swells from the east and offshore westerlies. But when it does break, it provides a freight-train right hander into the beach, that will attract a crowd. Experienced surfers need only apply, a serious though fickle wave.
