general information

Located on the North Shore, Anse de Lorient is a long white sand beach with mostly calm waters. Towards the western end there is a shallow reef known as 'The Ledge' which can produce fast and sometimes (think large northerly swell) hollow lefts and rights.

The beach is also home to the Reefer Surf Club, which is an informal local surfing club and home to the local surfer community.
