general information

Located on the south west facing central coast, Tejocate gets plenty of swell and relies on sandbar formation for wave quality. The nearby mouth of the Rio Coyolate (also known as Rio Xaya), a few kms east helps with this and often you'll find fun peaky waves along this stretch of sand. Tends to close out when the swell gets big and is not much chop when the wind turns onshore.
