Copacabana is located at the northern end of Macmasters Beach, north of the Cochrane Lagoon. There are usually good banks around the Lagoon entrance. The beach faces southeast so can be counted on to have a wave if there is virtually any swell in the water and is partly protected from northerly winds, which are crossshore and can help produce a nice bowl off the main peak. A good option if you're not up to surfing Copa Point.
