general information
Situated just south of Holyhead on Holy Island, Trearddur bay is a natural harbour with a gently sloping, sandy beach that that can yield some waves at the lowest end of the gnarly scale. The beach faces southwest and so likes a southwest swell. However it will have to be a big one to push all the way into this bay. Cliffs shelter the bay, so can be an option when everything else is blown out. Best on mid to high tide on your fattest board.
