general information
A serious and hollow wave when it's big. Fun right bowls when it's a bit smaller. However the margin for error in this judgement is small. If you get caught out there in a solid southeast swell, you'll have to employ the 'make it or eat it' approach to your surfing. Quick drop and heavy right hand barrel awaits, those who are up to it. A great wave when it's on, but the trade winds blow it out regularly, so wait for offshore or glassy conditions and a mid to high tide. Fatuuli means black in Samoan, so you'll be surfing black rock.
