Just one of the gems that surround the expanse of the Truk Lagoon. This spot like many others is named after a Japanese wreck that lies in the lagoon itself. The entire island was carpet bombed by the US in WW II effectively destroying what was a Japanese fortress in the central Pacific. The area is very popular with divers - surfers only now discovering the true beauty of the region
