Located at the south end of Pie de Gigante, Playa Gigante is sheltered from most swell by the headland to the south and so won't provide much at all, most of the time. Occasionally however, during May to Sept a large west to southwest swell will wrap into the bay and yield pretty standard beach break peaks here. Better quality breaks further north.
