general information
A tiny beach just outside the town of San Carlos on the Pacific coast. Playa Palmar is a mecca for travelling surfers, as it houses 3 quality breaks: a beach break called Frente Palmar (Palmar Front), a quality right point break named Punta Palmar (Palmar Point), and and left point break named Hawaiisito (Little Hawaii). There are also a couple of surf camps nearby.
