Watamu Bay is situated 140 kms North of Mombasa. It houses a stretch of beach with offshore coral reefs. At the southern end is a long sandy beach but no waves due to the offshore reefs. At the northern end the reefs a few hundred meters offshore can produce some fun waves albeit not that often.
