general information
Outside the entrance to the south channel lies part of the barrier reef that throws up some right handers peeling into the deep water channel in the right conditions. Take ferry across to the south side and you'll see the waves if they are breaking. Then paddle from there. Watch out for ships entering the harbour and sharks.
