Can produce some quality beach break waves, especially at the headland/rivermouth end of the beach, also good for beginners in smaller swells. Chilled out atmosphere. Watch out for rips from the river, can also be a little polluted after heavy rains. There is parking in a national trust carpark behind the dunes.
