Porthleven is one of the UK's most famous and well respected reefs that packs an enormous punch and has an appetite for boards (and heads). Attracts big crowds and no wave sneaks through unridden, usually by some of the UKs finest. It breaks in front of Porthleven harbour, which is a great vantage point to spectate and take photographs from. Usually best around mid to just before low tide when it becomes dangerously shallow. Beginners need not apply!!!
