general information
Raffs is located on the same stretch of beach as Ocean Grove, just one and a half kilometres to the west. The beach and wave quality at Raffs is basically the same as that at Ocean Grove, although Raffs faces a different direction - offshore in a westerly - and picks up slightly less swell.
There is a small gravel car park here on the road between Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads, it’s not sign posted, but is easy to find. Good luck finding a parking spot during the summer holidays (December – February).
Raffs is ideal for beginners and intermediates. The surf is never brilliant, but small, fun waves are often found here.
